don’t flirt, let the guy chase you. I don’t flirt but that is because u have formerly been called a slut.
Be yourself and talk to the guy about stuff he would like to talk about.
Check out magazines, they help a lot.
I’m sure their websites have tips too.
Try seventeen, cosmo girl, and other popular teen magazines.
Good luck

. You could flirt with the person you like, as others suggest, and give some advice (like smiling, which I guess is a form of flirting… *still learning all of these myself*, or shyly looking away…
. But let’s see, what is a flirt in the first place? What does it mean to ‘flirt’? Flirt is an act of showing the like of yours towards the other, in some manner. People do this by small acts, and also while conversing. It depends on how well you know the guy, firstly, to decide on the level of this ‘flirt’ which you can take. If you have not spoken to him, but only see him occasionally, then you may do things like, and probably will without really thinking about it, like smiling, or shyly looking away, or rubbing your shoulder or your arm when he might be looking, trying to smell nice, look nice, strech, etc., etc., etc. If you do know him, additionally to these small things, you can do whichever while talking, but here you would have a greater advantage. If you already have breached the cotnact level where you greet him, where you can say ‘hey, how’s it going?’ and stop for a few minutes to chat, then the flirting level also advances. Here, while talking, you can pat his shoulder, for example, or have a closer body distance, look into his eyes, keep constant eye contact, while talking. I read in a journal yesterday that deep eye contact is one of the main factors in love development between two individuals. A Harvard professor did a study with his students to confirm this. The more you gaze into the other person’s eyes, seeing that their not your family member or a sex that you’re not attracted to, the more appealing the person becomes.
