Need advice on Online Dating sites?

I’m goin to join a few online dating sites and i have a couple of questions about profiles.
1.Should I write about all the positive things about myself?
2.How many pics are necessary? and what kind of pics? Is it ok to post my pic that is 3 years old?
3.If there’s DO’s and DON’Ts, please tell me about it.

It is only ok to post an old pic if you look the same now as you did then. The biggest reason for that is so you don’t meet the guy and have him run off because you’ve put on a few pounds. That would hurt just a little.
You certainly shouldn’t put negatives about yourself, but don’t go putting too personal information in such a public place.
The biggest thing you need to do is make sure you meet in a public place, and possibly with a friend, if/when you eventually meet up with someone in real life.
